These music monsters have been developed for South Florida PBS in the new and upcoming Young Maestros project. This project is aimed to teach kids 0-16 year olds all about classical music. What started as rough sketches on a paper of characters were then developed into a set of 3D and animated lovable characters, each assigned to the three age groups (0-5,6-10 and 11-16).
With careful descriptions of features and expressions, we were able to take the concept drawing and create character sheets for marketing materials and brand identity. To push this project off the ground first, we have to capture what it is with a sizzle reel.
These sets of characters were then developed into bronze cast and plush toys.
